Geez, they've changed the submission procedures since last time I tried... Let's see if I get this right on the first shot!

A friend of mine loaned me his digital tablet for the week, and I finally got around to playing with it beyond drawing scribbles... You get three guesses as to what it's supposed to be! The pose is a lot like this one, by ryo-hakkai, and I hope they don't mind. I started drawing the plantish stuff (which, I guess, is supposed to be bamboo, but turned out more like cornstalks) on the sides, then remembered that piece, and went ahead and used it as a sort of rough idea on how to actually draw a decent looking wolf... And I think I failed miserably, but oh well! I was just experimenting with the tablet.

I think, as far as using a tablet goes, I'm hooked... It was more natural than I thought it would be, and I burned away 2 hours before I realized it! Guess I need to go out and get me one, eh? Maybe once I get one, I can work on doing my own stuff...

Anyway, I did this using MetaCreations... er... I mean Corel Painter 10, and an old Wacom Intuos tablet.
